Bani's eManifest agent will read the shipment details, match the driver and truck, and prepare an ACE or ACI filing. Nothing goes to the border until you approve it.
The paperwork behind this job
ACE is the Automated Commercial Environment run by US Customs and Border Protection. ACI is the Advance Commercial Information program run by the Canada Border Services Agency. Both require carriers to send shipment and truck details electronically before the truck reaches the border.

Bani prepares each job. You approve anything that goes to a customer, a driver or the border.
Questions
- What is the difference between ACE and ACI?
- ACE is the US system, run by Customs and Border Protection, for trucks entering the United States. ACI is the Canadian program, run by the Canada Border Services Agency, for trucks entering Canada.
- Will the agent file without my approval?
- No. You approve anything that goes to the border.
- Does this replace my customs broker?
- No. The carrier's eManifest and the customs release for the goods are separate steps. Bani is being built for the carrier's side, so you would still work with your customs broker on the goods.
